The correct response to almost any question in Japanese where the answer is a positive one (unless you decide to respond with Hai sou desu of course).
This phrase is commonly said in both Japan and uninhabited areas of Minnesota.
The romanization of "haiok" is not accurate, as there is no letter 'k' in Japanese. The correct romanization would probably be closer to "haioke" or "haiokei" or something like that.
